St. Charles Worship Team

“The Church is in constant pursuit of the ‘heart of worship.’ Together, we journey on to learn more and more of what it really means to bring meaningful offerings to the heart of God. Thoughts, words, deeds and songs—we bring the whole of our lives as a response to His immeasurable worth.” – Matt Redman

One way we worship is to offer songs of praise to the Lord. We desire to honor Him with songs of thankfulness and praise through heart-felt worship. In the contemporary service, we have an eclectic mix of styles all the way from celtic, Taize, hymns, our own brand of “Still” music, to Chris Tomlin and Hillsong, accompanied by  worship teams that may include  guitars, electric guitars, keyboard, and drums. In our earlier service we have traditional hymns accompanied by pipe organ. No matter the style of music, it comes back to the heart of worship and we approach that throne of grace in thankfulness knowing that Jesus Christ has made a way to the Father.

The choir ministry of St. Charles meets quarterly to sing for special seasonal services including Christmas Eve and Easter.

Also, our Still services are a blend of original songs, scripture readings, and prayers that cause us to slow down and meditate on the Lord’s goodness in a quiet candlelit  atmosphere. We offer these at various times throughout the year usually during Advent, Lent, and Holy Week. More information can be found on the link to our Still Service website.
