St. Charles is a Purpose Driven Church. This means that everything we do in our church life is focused through five filters called Godâs Purposes. These Purposes come from the two most emphatic commandments Jesus spoke.
Matt. 22:36-40Â The Great Commandment: âJesus said, âLove the Lord your God with all your heart…soul…and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it:Â Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.ââ
Matt. 28:19-20  The Great Commission: âJesus said, âGo and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.â
⢠To âLove God with all your heartâ is âMAGNIFICATIONâ (Worship).
⢠To âLove your neighbor as yourselfâ is âMINISTRYâ (Service).
⢠To âGo…make disciplesâ is âMISSIONâ (Evangelism).
⢠To âBaptize…â is to incorporate into âMEMBERSHIPâ (Fellowship).
⢠To âTeach them…all thingsâ is âMATURITYâ (Discipleship).
We believe a great commitment to The Great Commandment and  The Great Commission will grow a great church! Over 30 St. Charles Parishioners have traveled to Saddleback Church in California to attend the Purpose Driven Church Conference. We are members of the Purpose Driven Family of Churches.
Sacramental refers to the nature of Anglican worship which celebrates Holy Communion at each Sunday service.
